Mr. Aditya Giri is a distinguished advocate at the Supreme Court of India. In 2023, he achieved the coveted designation of Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India, and in 2024, he was elected as the youngest Member Executive in the history of the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association for the term 2024-2026. His legal expertise spans Constitutional Law, Service and Labor Laws, Arbitration Laws, Commercial Laws, Criminal Laws, and Public Policy matters.

Mr. Giri has developed specialized expertise in cyber crimes and data privacy law, handling complex matters involving cybersecurity breaches, data protection violations, and technology-related disputes. His experience encompasses representing clients in cases involving online fraud, identity theft, cyberstalking, unauthorized access to computer systems, and violations of the Information Technology Act, 2000. He has provided legal counsel on data privacy compliance under various regulatory frameworks including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and has advised corporate clients on cybersecurity policies, data breach response protocols, and cross-border data transfer regulations. His practice in this domain includes both litigation and advisory services, covering issues such as digital evidence admissibility, cyber defamation, e-commerce disputes, and intellectual property theft in digital environments. Mr. Giri’s understanding of emerging technologies and their legal implications positions him at the forefront of India’s evolving cyber law landscape, enabling him to effectively represent clients in this rapidly developing area of jurisprudence.

Mr. Giri’s legal expertise and advocacy skills are evidenced through numerous reported judgments across various courts and tribunals. In the Supreme Court of India, his work has been recognized in landmark cases including Jarnail Singh v. Lachhmi Narain Gupta, Bikram Chatterji v. Union of India, Bhupinder Singh v. Unitech Ltd.,etc.

Mr. Giri currently serves as Central Government Panel Counsel at the Supreme Court of India and as Panel Counsel for the National Small Industries Corporation, positions that reflect the trust placed in his legal expertise by government institutions and public sector undertakings. Mr. Giri’s legal education includes an LLB (Legum Baccalaureus) from the prestigious Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi (2014-17), building upon his Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi (2011-14).
